The Met Museum is one of the most iconic cultural institutions in New York City. The Met on Fifth Avenue presents over 5,000 years of art from around the world for everyone to experience and enjoy. Since its founding in 1870, The Met is not only a treasury of rare and beautiful objects but also is focused on collecting, studying, conserving, and presenting significant works of art across time and cultures in order to connect all people. As part of the Peninsula Academy, we invite you to encounter great works of art on an engaging, hour-long private tour led by trained Museum guides. As part of the tour, explore highlights of The Met collection and see how art comes alive in the Museum's galleries.
